Reminder- New OSHA Reporting Requirements Begin January 1, 2015

Beginning January 1, 2015, OSHA’s new rule regarding reporting of fatalities and hospitalizations will go into effect. The new rule requires employers to report to OSHA all work-related fatalities within 8 hours, and all work-related hospitalizations of one or more employees, any amputations or loss of an eye, within 24 hours. Reports should be made by calling the OSHA 24 hour hotline at 1-800-321-OSHA or by their website at www.osha.gov.
